Tech giant Google announces the update for its website and Android/iOS app to enhance searching feature. This update from Google will put some tappable shortcuts on your Google which enables specific and smarter searching.The idea behind this feature is to provide a more specific way to search the internet with ease. These shortcuts will include categories like weather, sport, food, entertainment and more. As Google search box is a great place if you wanna search or ask for something specific.However, there some moments when you just wanna go through latest updates or trends.
This feature will help user go through the latest happening in their concerned categories very easily. Consider you wanna look for a good restaurant near you now you need to ask google, but by tapping the category nearby it will automatically show you the nearest available restaurant with other information. With a tap of your finger, you will be able to know which movie is going to be released this week. Which show is available in your nearby theater, on which rank your favorite team is playing and other endless updates. This update currently available for the US users only and will roll out soon worldwide. With this feature, all the Google user experience a better way of searching the content over the internet. Categorizing the search is a smart way from the organization as they fully understand the user's needs and requirements.
After the official launch, this feature will be available for Android Marshmallow and Nougat. After updating you will find a drop-down arrow on the right side of the search bar with a list of categories you can choose from.
By adding this feature Google is not creating or giving a new thing it is just the way it is managing and organizing the search and data.
