Nokia 6 is the first smartphone of Nokia-branded Android phones that has been officially announced by HMD Global, which has the rights to use Nokia's brand on mobile phones. However, the fans of the Nokia brand will have to wait for sometime in order to get their hands on a Nokia Android phone mainly because it is exclusive to China. HMD Global did not take the global stage at CES in order to unveil this new phone of Nokia, but instead of this, the company decided to announce it silently.

Features & Specifications

Nokia 6 smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat and features a 5.5-inch full-HD display wrapped in 2.5D Gorilla Glass. This mobile device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with 4GB of RAM as well as 64GB of internal storage. In addition, it is a dual SIM mobile phone which has 300 mAh non-removable battery. The unibody Nokia 6 is developed using 6000 series aluminium and the home button of the device has an embedded fingerprint scanner. Moreover, it includes a f/2.0 16-megapixel rear camera alongside phase detection autofocus, dual tone flash and also an 8-megapixel f/2.0 front camera for marvelous selfies. The power and the volume buttons lie on the right, whereas the SIM card slot rests on the left. This is a mid-range phone with a full HD screen and with also a fancy metal body, which are unbeatable.

On the other hand, the Nokia 6 runs Android Nougat software and is also 4G LTE capable. It is said that the appearance of Nokia 6 is very much similar to Nokia Lumia phones, but still you can't call it one. This is because build is little different. Nokia Lumia settled on just using metal for their edges as well as plastic on the device's back. Whereas, Nokia 6 is built from a block of aluminium like a OnePlus 3T. Furthermore, Nokia 6 comes with dual amplifiers as well as supports Dolby Atmos sound technology, which is a tech that powers the sound in some world class cinemas. It involves having a separate amp circuit for each speaker and this also includes using clever processing designed to make music seem like it is surrounding you.

Pricing & Popularity

As you already know that Nokia 6 is a China-exclusive mobile phone and will be available at 1699 Yuan. However, at the moment, details about global release has not been revealed by the company. Still, the company has hinted on bringing the device to global market in first half of year 2017.

According to tech experts, Nokia Android phone is likely to acquire the top spot and this can be said by witnessing its sleek, elegant look, fast processors, high-durability, mega-pixel cameras with smart marketing drive. In other words, the company claims that it is a beautifully crafted handset with exceptional features designed to deliver enriched experience and look forward to establish a new benchmark in terms of both design as well as quality.
