These emojis were already available for iOS 10.2 as well as Android Nougat users. However, the new update of this chat app allows both Nougat and non-Nougat users to avail the benefits of this emojis.

This new set of emojis come with Unicode 9.0 pack and is rolling out with the version of 2.17.44 of this chat app. Some of the emojis include a woman detective, farmer, doctor, astronaut, scientist, painter, pilot and a female Santa Claus which is known as Mrs. Claus. In addition, some other intriguing emojis are facepalming, person shrugging, cowboy hat face, drooling face, mother and son emoji, the rainbow flag, a father with two kids, ROFL (rolling on the floor laughing) and many more. However, this new emojis are available for the beta testers and this means that you can't use the same unless you have signed up to become a beta tester. Remember that when you are a beta tester, then you are at a higher chance of having an early access to new features much before they are available for the public.

Way to become a beta tester

When it comes to becoming a beta tester, there is a need to go to Play Store and open Whatsapp Messenger app. After this, scroll to the end properly and you will get to see 'Become a beta tester' option and clicking on it will make you a beta tester for WhatsApp.

There is no exaggeration in saying that WhatsApp has been very active with its emoji updates. You will see the app making headlines for its wonderful choices of emojis. Whatsapp is known as the world's most popular and an amazing messaging platform with over 1 billion users. As per a recent report, it is working on a new feature that will enable app's users in a group chat to broadcast their live location to each other and has added GIF support and easy call forwarding with its latest updates.

In addition, a recent iOS update of this application brought the ability to bundle the messages in case of no internet connection and there is also a new storage usage screen with an option to share at least 30 photos and videos in a single go. Furthermore, it also gets an expansion of multiple messages in the notification panel and it has also added the support for Gif search from Giphya and offers an increased media sharing limit to 30, wherein an earlier user could send only 10 media files to any contact.
