iOS 11 Apple is enrolling AR apps for users

The face of mobile usage is about to change forever with Apple’s latest launch of iOS 11 for iPhone. The latest iOS 11 includes the much talked about Apple’s SDK- the ARKit that lets developers create new augmented reality apps. Apple devices including 5s, 6s/6s Plus, iPhone7/ 7 Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 8/ 8 Plus, iPad mini and a later version, including the latest iPod touch can now unbox the world of augmented reality, starting with these Apps.

In case you’re wondering how to get iOS 11 update, follow these simple steps to unlock all the awaited AR apps.

Make sure you run a backup: Before exploring the new world of Apple, make sure that your data is safe. Backup your data and double check that your iCloud data is up to date by going to Settings → Account information → Device name on your iPhone or iPad. Or you can also use your computer to create a manual backup in iTunes by plugging in your iOS device to the computer.

Downloading iOS11- Once you have a backup of all your data, browse your Setting Option then go to General settings and click on Software update. The device will start looking for the available update with a notification ‘Update Requested..” and the download will start in few seconds.

Revamped App Store - After the download, your device is ready to unlock the feature that you have been waiting for so long. Once you browse through the app store , you will find some AR apps available for users. Here’s an overview of some of the apps that you can try from the App Store.

World Brush- The newly added AR app lets you draw any 3D shape in the real world.

Edmonds - The app enables the user to know whether their desired car will fit into the garage or not using AR.

Stack AR- You can play a stack blocking game into the real space with the app. The app will give you an idea about AR.

Housecraft- This app lets you put real-sized furniture into your place using the AR technique. Most of the furniture companies are using AR to enable the user to place their furniture virtually at home.

AR Measure Kit- You can measure the dimensions of the real world around you with the help of this app.

Apple made its ARKit available for the app developers which enables them to add AR feature to iOS apps. Apple will keep adding more AR-equipped app as most of the developers are integrating this feature into their app.
